Practice and stuff

Practicing hair, hoods, muscles, etc.

Designed Kagekao's hair but still designing how his skin will look, already got an idea of how his face works. So the deal with his face, his mask is actually just a blank mask that if half black and white, it's unique to him because only he can see through it with his eyes. His eyes, when he's happy/positive emotions his eyes emit light, which shines through the mask making the eye and mouth shapes. When he's angry/negative emotions his eyes kind of take away light from around them which sucks away light emitted from the mask (which is a bit luminous). So in reality both his eyes and all of his mouth are open, but only half is visible because of his mask.


And as you can see I'm also working on Jack's hair design.

A few of my OCs that have not previously been shown on DA (with the exception of that one sketchy thing) are here. First, Xavier/Devon, he's a proxy. He's actually developed from an old Left 4 Dead OC of mine, his outfit is different but his face is the same, despite the fact that he used to have no eyes. Those headphones he has on are actually the same headphones that I have.
Next is Trevor, I do plan on writing his story soon as well. Next is Kai, he's a demon similar to Kage. He wears a fox mask and a fluffy jacket. Underneath his mask are the kanjis for 'Silence', as he is mute.

After that is a few random sketches, a few practicing muscles because I'm trying to perfect my skills, or at least close to perfect; don't think I'll ever perfect it XD Kage is there 'cause I'm designing how his skin looks; his skin tone is similar to Jack's, but a little lighter. Half of his face is a dark ashy black and the other is a pale grayish white, his forearms are dark black.

Reason why I'm practicing this stuff is 'cause I don't feel like doing actual drawings at all. Maybe later; right now I either feel like writing or playing Skyrim or Dead space 2. I dunno. Sketching things usually makes me wanna draw, think I'll do more sketching later.

Meh. Think I'll just take a nap. I'm so damn sleepy why am I so sleepy. Guess I should just take Jeff's advice.
