Kage sighed. He climbed further up the roof so that he could no longer hear his parents; he didn’t like to hear them so sad.

Kage climbed to the highest part of the roof and sat down; he felt like he needed some alone time to think. He felt afraid; he didn’t know what his parents were planning, but it didn’t sound very easy.

He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the night. The wind blowing through the grass and the trees, crickets here and there, things of that sort. They were calming and peaceful, something nice.

Kage closed his eyes tightly, hoping that it was all a dream; some horrible nightmare that had struck in the night. He hoped that he would wake up soon, and everything would be normal.

He opened his eyes; everything was still in its ruined state. He closed his eyes and opened them again; still the same. Kage stood up, but moving had made the open wound on his chest hurt again. He sat back down and sighed. This wasn’t a dream; it hurt too much to be a dream.

Kagekao was still confined to staying inside the house. It was a good thing, even if Kage didn’t see it that way, because his wounds hadn’t fully healed yet; however, because he couldn’t go outside, he was constantly bored throughout the day.

When night finally arrived, Kage climbed into bed to go to sleep. After a few long minutes, he felt himself drifting off; but someone opened the door to his room and rushed inside. It was Yuki; she shut the door silently and then looked at Kage.

“お母さん? 何で-？” (Mom? What is-?) Kage started, but Yuki quickly motioned for him

INSIDE JOKES. INSIDE JOKES EVERYWHERE.

So first things first; Happy birthday

! Hope you have an awesome birthday bro. Here's a whole batch of inside jokes for ya. Ya know; so we can laugh and everyone else can be confused as hell.

Alright now for the explanation. Pyramid head talks about "Child Safety", which is a reference from when I first played Silent hill 2 with

; first encounter with PH when he was standing behind the bars. And SirLowain started narrating random things he was saying; it was f*cking hilarious. Randomly (I honestly have no idea how) he started talking about how to be safe and child safety, then with all the other encounters he started making random rules. For example, "rule #2687, don't run when you're dragging around a giant great blade" .

For the characters at the bottom; the guy with the yellow Jacket is Kuroiuso, belongs to

. Finally got an opportunity to draw this guy; yay!

Anglerfish man is the angler fish man. yes. He's awesome. Love this guy. So adorable. I didn't know what outfit to draw him in and only had one ref so I just used the outfit in the ref - [link] And why his party hat has a picture of Sharkman's wife on it I have no idea. It just does. Deal with it. (memory is a little fuzzy but I think that was his wife right?) yes he also belongs to SirLowain.

And Kage is there because he is.

And that cake was originally gonna have candles on it; but when they were there it looked very odd
