Jeff sighed angrily. He was disappointed with himself. A few days prior he had been captured when attempting to murder someone; he now sat in a padded cell bound with a strait jacket. He didn’t like having to sit still, he wanted to go out and see others bleed. They would pay. They would all pay.
Jeff didn’t know where he was, but he knew that he was not in the same town that he had been captured in. He hoped the others knew where he was, he was sick of this place. Jeff kicked the wall angrily.
An alarm went off outside of his cell. Jeff turned his head to look at the door. Maybe someone tried to escape and idiotically set off the alarm.
“Idiot.” He scoffed under his breath, even though he himself couldn’t figure out how to escape.

“Hey what happened!? Where’s the security breach!?” A guard ran into the security room. He glared at the one sitting on the chair watching the monitors. He had heard that there was someone new working in the security room today, and he wasn’t familiar with him. The one in the chair was faced away, and was sitting in the large chair at an angle so that the guard could only see his black hair.
“Umm sorry, false alarm.” The one in the chair replied, he reached forward and clicked a button, causing the alarm to stop.
“Don’t let it happen again!” The guard said angrily, but then again, it was his first day maybe he should cut him some slack. The guard was about to leave when he noticed that the vent near the ceiling was open.
“Hey why is that open? You should close it.” The guard pointed at the open vent. The one in the chair turned his head slightly.
“Yeah that, I forgot to close it. Must have slipped my mind.” He turned back towards the monitors.
“Why is that even-” The guard started, but the other one interrupted him:
“I’ll get to it. You go back to whatever you were doing.”
The guard stared at the vent for a few more seconds, then turned and left. The one in the chair looked at the door and chuckled. He stared at the monitors for a little longer, picking out a few of the patients. He memorized their room locations and walked over to the vent. Picking up the vent cover, which had been lying on the ground, he looked at the large opening to the vent. He laughed and said to himself:
“I wonder if he reached him yet, well no matter; time to work.”

In one of the rooms near Jeff the killer’s room, a man that was declared insane sat. He was, like Jeff, in a strait jacket, and in a padded room. He was angry, and part of him just wanted to die. He sighed, when he heard something. It sounded like footsteps, kind of. Sounds caused by movement, they were coming from above him. He looked up; the only thing up there on the ceiling was a grate covering a vent.
“Who’s up there!?” He shouted. No reply.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!” Maybe he should shut up; it could just be a raccoon that got in or something.
“Hey are you-”
“おまえ静かにして。” (You be quiet.)
He paused, someone was up there.
“Hey who are-”
“静かにして!” (Be quiet!)
He stopped, he couldn’t understand what it was saying but it sounded like it was getting impatient.
“良い, 良い, now, do you want out?” (Good, good, -)
“Huh you speak- . . . Hell yeah I want out! I don’t like it here!” He pushed against the wall with his back and used his legs to stand up.
“Of course you do. And I can help you with the first part.” Something poked through the bars of the grate, it was a knife.
“はい, there’s your weapon.” (Here - ) The grate on the vent started moving, and the one inside did something and it fell off and landed on the floor.
“おまえここに来る。” (You come here.)
A hand in a white glove appeared from the vent’s opening and made a gesture that suggested the person wanted him to come closer. The man walked over slowly.
“Hey can I have tha-” He started, but was interrupted.
“Look over there.” The man turned, wondering what he was supposed to see.
The hand aimed quickly, and threw the knife skillfully at him. The knife hit him on the back, piercing the strait jacket material. The one in the vent laughed and the man fell against the wall, confused.
“Hey what are you-!”
“おまえばか? 静かにして！ They might hear you!” (Are you stupid? Be quiet! -)
The man stopped and began to move his arms around, the slash in the jacket widened and the knife fell out. He pushed out his arms and the gash widened more, but slowly.
“え,おまえおそい” (Eh, you’re slow)
The hand reached out of the vent once more, and at the end of his index finger a large black claw appeared. The hand reached out, hooked the claw into the ripped part of the jacket, and ripped it open. The man’s arms came free, and he waved them around joyfully. He felt like laughing joyfully loud, but he remembered the person telling him about the guards. He reached down and picked up the knife.
“Hey but what about that!?” He pointed at a small camera that was in the corner of the ceiling.
“Don’t worry about that.”
“And the door! I can’t open it!”
“Don’t worry about that either. Let me explain phase two. The doors will open. You have that knife. We’re going to play a game with the others. Let’s call it . . . tag. You’re it; everyone else is who you’re after. It’s like freeze tag, but you use the knife. If you get them and they cheat and not stay still, then you use the knife more. You make them stay still. But we need more players; I’m going to go find more players. You stay here; in a little bit I’ll open the doors.”
“Hey I - . . .” The man heard noises, the person in the vent left.

Jeff sighed. The alarm had stopped, and now it was boring again. Boring, boring, boring. That’s all this place was. No fun at all. He wanted it to get excited; the boredom would drive him insane. Well, more insane.
Jeff got his wish. There was a strange noise outside. And the intercom turned on and someone said something:
“Let the games begin! ケケケ！” ( -laughter)
Jeff grinned. He recognized that voice. But at the same time he was disappointed; everyone was out having fun and he was sitting here bored. He heard screams outside; he leaned against the wall and stood up. Jeff walked over to the door and put his head against it to hear clearer. There were screams and angry shouts, a few gun shots, and in a little while, silence.
“Hey! Kage you bastard let me out!” Jeff kicked the door several times. “I know you can hear me you son of a bitch let me out!”
The door swung open, causing Jeff to fall to the ground. Someone entered, holding a knife. Jeff recognized that knife, it was his own. He didn’t get a clear look but he knew that it wasn’t Kagekao who was holding the knife. The person grabbed Jeff’s shoulder and swung the knife towards his chest. Jeff’s eyes widened, and then the knife sunk into the strait jacket and ripped upwards, freeing him. Jeff fell to the floor, stunned with confusion.
He recovered after a few seconds and looked up.
“Mother f*cker!” Jeff glared at him. The the person tossed the knife towards Jeff.
“Did I scare you Jeffy?” Jeff could hear him laughing behind his dark blue mask. He wasn’t too surprised that Jack had come to the asylum with Kage.
“F*ck you I wasn’t scared.” Jeff picked up his knife and got up; he pushed past Jack and into the hall. There was blood all around. Dead bodies littered the floor, he didn’t see anyone living.
“Another of Kage’s ‘games’ huh? Damn I wanted to play.”
“Don’t worry, there’s more. Follow me.” Jack began walking, Jeff followed. They reached the security room, Jack opened the door and they stepped inside. The one who was there previously was there, watching the monitors. Most of the monitors showed dead bodies and gore, others showed the few remaining survivors fighting. The one in the chair laughed as the second to last person out in the open was killed.
“勝者!” (Winner!) He said and laughed. The chair spun around and Kagekao faced Jeff and Jack.
“What’s up ジェフ？ You guys want to go join the game?”(- Jeff)
“Hell yeah!” Jeff replied, raising his knife.
“Let’s go congratulate the winner!” Kage ran out the door, the others followed. Soon they reached the area where the one survivor out in the open stood. The man turned and saw them, a crazed look in his eye. He ran towards Kage, he held a large syringe and lunged forward. Kage stepped to the side and the man stumbled past.
“おめでとう！ Here’s your prize!” (Congrats! -) Kage removed his scarf and took an end in each hand, he ran towards the man. The man was about to turn around when Kage wrapped the scarf around his neck and pulled on each end harshly, a loud snap was heard and the man went limp.
Kage laughed and put his scarf back on.
“You guys wait here; I’ll get more contestants!” Kage ran back towards the security room. He did something, and every cell door in the place opened. People walked out of their cells confused, some excited and others scared by the noises of terror that they had heard.
“Let’s do this!” Jack reached into his pocket and produced a scalpel. Jeff raised his knife and laughed. Kage came back and joined them, and the three of them ran in search of the wandering patients.

They stepped out the front door, leaving behind them a mess of bodies, blood, and gore. Some people were killed in creative ways, some were killed by simply a knife through the heart, and several others lost a few organs.
The three of them were covered in blood. They walked down the trail in the front of the asylum and up to the large front gates, leaving behind bloody footprints. Jack also held a bag that contained a few organs he harvested.
“We should do this again sometime” Kage said. “Next time we can bring Rake and tell him that everyone thinks he’s in the closet.” The others laughed.
“Where the hell are we anyway?” Jeff asked “Have you two gone after anyone in the area yet?”
“I can’t remember the name of this place, but we just got here yesterday and haven’t killed anyone before the asylum.” Jack replied.
“Well then,” Jeff tilted his knife, watching the fresh blood drip off of it. He walked forward and opened the gates.
“Let’s go f*cking crazy.”
