Kagekao opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light of sunset coming through the window. He coughed and lifted his hand to his chest, feeling the bandages wrapped around him that were caked with dry blood.

He tried to sit up, but a sharp jolt of pain came from his back; he groaned.

“Kage, don’t sit up; you have some deep gashes on your back.” A voice from beside him informed.

Kage lied back down and turned his head; Yuki was standing beside his bed.

“Mom, I-” Kage started to speak.

“Kagekao! What were you thinking?!” Yuki interrupted him.

Kurai and Yuki took Kage back home. Kurai had a few deep gashes on him and was bleeding, so Yuki ordered Kage to go to his room and stay there.

Kage went to his room grudgingly. He closed the door behind him and lied down on his bed, gazing out the window at the bright moon in the sky.

After a little while, Kurai and Yuki entered. Kurai had fresh bandages on, although they were beginning to get stained with blood.

“Kagekao; what were you thinking!? You could have been killed!” Yuki scolded.

Kage grumbled something and sat up, but didn’t really respond.

Awww cheer up Double head! They can call you 'Uncle Double head'. The other silent hill dogs won't think you've gone soft. Not at all. I'm sure of it. Feral and Sniffer dog totally won't make fun of you.

When Mira and Smile dog go out Mira asks Double head to look after the pups, and he does 'cause he's a good friend. And of course he ends up with chew marks.

And notice the pups in the front have identical markings to Mira and Smiles. The one that looks like Smiley is 'Smiles Jr', the one that looks like Mira is 'Aki' as in 'autumn'. The one on his head is 'Buttons' and the one on his back is 'Fuyu' as in 'Winter'. The one biting the tail is 'Spartos' The rest are unnamed for the moment.

If you don't know Double head, he's a monster dog from 'Silent hill 3'. His head splits in two down the front and he's covered in bandages from what looks like burns.
